Adrian Belmes is an author, editor, and book artist. He edits manuscripts, writes poetry, makes books, and compiles zines. His work has been published in X-R-A-Y, Cabinet of Heed, honey & lime, Misery Tourism, Riggwelter Press, Back Patio Press, The Blue Pages, Philosophical Idiot, Mineral Lit, SOFT CARTEL, and other places.

He is the editor in chief of Badlung Press, a micro-press of trauma, publishing chapbooks, artist books, and zines. He is a former senior editor at Fiction International and also the previous editor in chief of The Koala Newspaper at SDSU, where he completed his B.A. in English and Creative Publishing.

Adrian is a reasonably depressed Jewish trans man born in Odessa, Ukraine. Currently, he resides in San Diego, where he is working on his M.A. in Clinical Counseling to become a hospice chaplain serving queer communities.
